Cincy Gooners invite you to a weekend full of beer, soccer, camaraderie, and, of course, polka music at the nation’s biggest Oktoberfest celebration with an Arsenal twist.
The weekend begins on Friday, Sept. 20 by fusing Oktoberfest traditions with our own local Arsenal flair. The Commissioner of the Cincy Gooners is hosting a cookout at his house. There will be plenty of Wurst and Maerzenbier (two Oktoberfest staples), plus shot-skis of the Cincy Gooners’ traditional celebration shot: the Pink Rhino. Don’t know what a shot-ski is? Come find out for yourself! You’ll be able to pick up your swag pack. This is your chance to meet new friends from all over the US and fill your stomach with food and beer.
From here on, we’ll know more as we get closer. We’ll meet at the Pitch for the Arsenal match and breakfast. We’ll have a raffle supporting Gooners vs Cancer where you could win a jersey voucher and other cool prizes. After that is more Oktoberfest fun, a streetcar bar crawl back down to Oktoberfest.
